  • The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center - Located on the shores of Town Lake, this 60-acre botanical garden was established in 1982 after Lady Bird Johnson's death by her daughter Luci Baines Johnson. The Wildflower Center is a monument to Mrs. Johnson's environmental legacy and is dedicated to research, education, conservation, and recreation in sustainable practices.
  • Austin Speedway - The four-mile dirt track can accommodate 60,000 spectators, who enjoy some of the most excellent drivers in the world.
  • The Hill Country Galleria - This famous mall is located between Austin and San Antonio off Highway I-35. More than 125 specialty shops are housed under one roof, including Ann Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek, The Disney Store, and more!
  • Austin Nature & Science Center - This interactive museum is designed especially for children, but adults will love it too. Exhibits include live animals, an outdoor amphitheater for concerts and plays, a fossil pit where visitors can dig for ancient shark teeth, and so much more!
  • Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum - This unique garden captures the works of one man, Charles Umlauf. He originally sculpted pieces to illustrate themes for schools and churches, but his family opened the gardens as a museum after his death.
  • Austin Public Library - The beautiful two-story library is located downtown on Cesar Chavez Street between First and Second Streets.
  • Zilker Botanical Garden - This tranquil garden is a splash of color and life amidst Austin's busy streets. There are more than 450 species of plants, as well as waterfalls and limestone pathways.
  • The University of Texas - The university's original campus was the center of political activity during the early years of the Republic of Texas. It remained a college town until the late 19th century.
  • Texas Capitol - This elegant building, completed in 1888, has been called "the most beautiful state house in America." The magnificent pink granite buildings feature impressive architecture.

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is one of Austin's most popular movie houses. You may go on a date at the exact location and at the same time thanks to this service.
